I bought six of these because they seem like such a good idea: two for my daughter's household, three for my son's household, and one for myself. The flashlight is really bright, and once I figured out how to operate all the parts of it, I feel secure that it will help me in any situation in which it is needed. ....
About that "...nuts," comment: My daughter said, "Gee, Mom, thanks for saving me if I drive into the river!"
My son said, "Okay, you've gone around the bend with this one."
I say, "Who knows when you might need an emergency light. You'll thank me some day!"
The flashlight gets only four stars because the construction is almost totally plastic, and getting the magnetic holder off to use the hammer (when I drive into the river someday) is sort of awkward. Other than that, it's a good deal. I mean, you might as well have a flashlight that does more than provide light, right? -- My kids think I'm nuts...
